I love Mousebirds and once read a story about Kiki, the mousebird, in my youth... Apparently their name is derived from the fact that they behave like mice when crawling among the branches, with their long tails..
I love them Maggie. They used to spend a great deal of time in our garden but when we pulled out the last exotic tree they disappeared. I'm sure they will return as soon as the indigenous trees begin to get bigger.
And looks like a mouse with a very long tail!
