Cheating today - this photo was taken yesterday.
While standing on the veranda I zoomed in on the CMR Beetles feeding on the flower.
Much to my surprise a Sun-bird landed and started feeding.
What luck on a rainy day!
Amazing capture Maggie - we used to have a sun-bird that loved our petria in Kloof, and used to sit and peck at the window where it could see its reflection.

ReplyDeleteLovely shot. We now have a number of collared sunbirds coming into the garden but they are not easy to photograph.
