This is a very shy bird and I suspect that it thought that I could not see it. It is a Tchagra, but I am not quite sure which one ♥My Canon SX40 has an affinity for birds♥
Thanks Celia. I have often seen these birds on the road in the game reserve but they normally take off even before the camera comes out. This one was in the road and flew into "hiding" in a nearby tree, giving me the opportunity to take a photo before it took off again.
Lovely setting for that photo Maggie, and the bird's shyness...
