Putting my SX40's "SuperZoom" to the test! A tripod would certainly have improved the shot.
Not good at judging distance and being the outdoorsy person that I am,
I can tell you without a doubt that it was three trees away!!
The bird remains unidentified..... perhaps a juvenile Longclaw?

    Interesting bird Maggie. I spent the day today t5rying to identify birds in my garden.
