This morning as I rushed out, I noticed this new Hibiscus bloom. 

It was quite high up but I could not resist to stop and try for a photo.

Only after downloading the photo tonight did I notice the bug, the pollen grains 

stuck on silk strands and the spider. It seems the bug also has silk wrapped around its legs.

Not my best photo, but considering the distance and the fact that is was taken 

'on the fly'  with arms outstretched - not too bad!

This wild Daisy is rich in pollen and favoured by all sorts of visitors.

We are experiencing a problem with bees that are nesting in a wall at the boarding school.

Various attempts have been made to get them away, but they are quite happy and refuse to move!

Not many bees can boast about the fact that they live in a boarding school!

 My dogs found this Lily Weevil today but soon lost interest because it was dead. Or so it seemed.

These insects 'play dead' when they sense danger and the tactic sure saved this guys life today 

otherwise the dogs would certainly have played it to death.

It also gave me the opportunity to get real close. 

Not a pretty site, but amazing textures though :)
