Thanks Jill. Had a good rest!! I tried Sepia and B&w, but preferred the original shot because the colouring of the afternoon sun on the tips of the 'thorns' make this photo for me. I like the different hues of brown.
sometimes I am not allowed to post comments don't understand this...tried 4 times to post my comments about your grasshopper pic no go....Great shot and fab colour of the grass perfectly matching the grasshopper, must be a Designer somewhere, somehow !!
Hope you are feeling loads better today Maggie. This is, however, a great photo. Have you tried it in B&W or sepia?

A very prickly problem, nothing too difficult for the Lord....I love the textures and shades of the teasel!!
