Highly polished! 
This is a Cuckoo Wasp - so called because it deposits it's eggs in other wasp's nests.
It did not like the camera much & this was the only photo I managed to get. I post the photo anyway, because it is the first time I have seen one of these during the past 18 months of mainly insect photography. Such amazing metallic colours!

  3. Beautiful shot Maggie with such amazing colours. I can't do any macro at the moment as I dropped poor Sony again and she is in the hospital.
