This large insect was brought to me in a container by my colleague this morning.

What I don't like about large insects is that they move so fast, making it very difficult to photograph!

I can not identify it. A Grasshopper with very large wings. perhaps? ;)

This is the tiniest Ladybug I have ever seen!

To the naked eye it looked quite plain and the markings were a macro-surprise

Wild Garlic flowers are actually quite small, but in comparison to the little bug they seem huge.

 This photo was taken yesterday in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.

Zincakeni Dam is one of my favourite stops. Although the dam is not very close to the road, 

we have a good view of the thirsty visitors because we look down on it. 

While we were sitting quietly waiting for whatever to happen, I spotted birds diving into the water. 

I presumed that is was Kingfishers, but the photos identified it as Bee-eaters.

The question is - do they fish or were they having some 'clean fun'?
