Armadillo Bug or Wood Louse
Also known as pill bug, armadillo bug, potato bug, roly-poly and monkeypea.
According to Wikijunior they are crustaceans like crabs, or shrimp, but they live on land.
There are more than 3000 known species.

A birdy start to the last month of the year.
Glossy Starlings
Are these birds blue or are they green? Do they have orange eyes or yellow eyes?
A variety of Glossy Starlings are featured in bird books and on the internet
making them extremely difficult to identify.
Obviously their colour has much to do with available light but I have to add that I have never thought that these birds have yellow eyes. Unless I am colour blind ;)
