There was no time for a photo today!
We spotted this Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill in the Game Reserve last week.
Although it was quite far off the road, we were intrigued with the way it was pecking at the dung and then throwing its head back as if it had found something to swallow - Grubs or seeds?
We decided it has to be seeds because the dung seemed quite old and dry and grubs would
probably not have been living happily in there.
Such a beautiful bird and another "first sighting" to add to my list!

Startled by the flash!
These beautiful wooden fish have been a part of my life for a number of years.
I love their eyes that seem watch my every move!
They always look quite frightened when I approach - fortunately they can't swim away!

"Draw out of the cup"
Long afternoon shadows, lovely lines with a touch of unexpected graffiti.
Yesterday I tried to capture the lines of the long corridor at school,
but was not satisfied with the result. Surprisingly today we had added graffiti.
I had fun with Picasa and I think the result is rather stunning!
