The pinky-finger is there to show how tiny the little butterfly actually is!   
 I have taken many photos of the "Common Grass Blue" but never had one sit still for long enough to do this.

    Beautiful shot Maggie and at least your nails are a decent length. Mine all seem to break in winter.

    Ahhh, wow! This is such a good lesson, Maggie - never expected them to be so small and now I realise what all those little butterflies are called. :)
